The VisualXSD screen consist of four areas:


 

 A   Path and filename for the xsd.exe program, it is recommended to control this value either through start up parameters or by changing the VisualXSD.exe.config file.
 
 B   Specifies the input file to convert. The source file can be a xml-schema (.xsd), an assembly (.dll or .exe), an xml file (.xml) or a xdr-schema (.xdr)
 
 C   Program options, these options is the same options found in the xsd.exe program, please refer to the xsd.exe documentation for a detailed explanation of the meaning of the different options.
VisualXSD will enable/disable program options and input fields based on the file extension in the input file, making it easier for you to choose the right options.
 
 
 D   The output area of VisualXSD showing the different results form the xsd.exe program, this consist of three areas:
